Disneyland 2008

We recently made the trip to Disneyland and had a wonderful time. My parents were able to join us. It was great to have them around to help out with the kids and also to relive my own Disneyland memories.

The Finding Nemo ride was the first ride we hit. We didn't have to wait too long and it started off things great.

Then Craig drove Craig around the Autopia.

For lunch we stopped near where they do the Jedi Training Academy.Abigail thought "Black War" aka Darth Vader was a little loud and scary. She figured out how to cover her eyes and ears with one set of hands.

Minnie was much easier to take.
Craig and Abigail loved Gadgets Go coaster.

During a quite moment, I snapped this picture of Craig trying to figure out where to take us next.
That finished off day 1. We had one more day in the park so Abigail assembled her list of rides not to miss, which she took into Disneyland the next day. As we completed the rides she would check them off. We got a lot in on the second day.
This is Abigail just before she went on Space Mountain which she "loved".

The girls on the Tea Cups.

Poppy and Laney waiting for Casey Jr.
We then headed to California Adventure. We went on Toy Story Mania which was everyone's favorite ride. You got to wear 3D glasses and shot pies or rings or whatever at different targets. Sometimes those targets launched things back at you. It was so much fun. (By the way I had the highest score.)

Bug's land was the kiddie ride capital of California Adventure. We rode all of the rides they had there and wore the kids out.

The last "must do" on Abigail's list was Playhouse Disney show. They got to see Handy Manny, Pooh Bear, Little Einsteins as well as Mickey and friends. It was very interactive. The kids jumped up and danced, sang and clapped along.

In Abigail's words, "I didn't cry or whine or anything when we left Disneyland, because I was tired." It was a great trip, but it definitely required a few days to recoop from it. Disneyland did not fail to deliever the great memories that it always seems to provide. I am glad that my parents could be there to be apart of those memories too.

Looks like such a fun trip! Abigail is a girl after my own heart with her little check list. So fun that mom and dad got to go too.
